About
As I rock in the pale Palo Alto sunshine, I am grateful for the fall flowers, the unexpected conversations, and the new ideas here at Stanford. My heart, though, is back in the wildness and peace of the Colorado mountains.
When I begin to forget that the shimmer of wind and the light in the aspens has forever been closer to reality than the stress and striving of Silicon Valley, I leave my schoolwork to walk, to ponder, and to write poems like these. May they be a refreshment to you.
